Loomis Bros Circus looks to restart
After two months of zero circus activity, Loomis Bros Circus appears set to restart traveling circuses that use and abuse animals. They have announced four performances over two days in Stoutland, Missouri. CWI has already begun notifying activists of this and seeks to rally individuals willing to protest and make calls. So many rodeo cancellations!
We could all use some good news during these trying times, so how about this: over 180 rodeo events have been cancelled so far this year! These include the major Cheyenne Frontier Days event, which has been running for more than 120 years, as well as Reno Rodeo, Dayton Rodeo, Cody Stampede Rodeo, Clovis rodeo, Sheridan WYO Rodeo, and the Kodiak Rodeo. Circus World Cancels Live Circus Shows
With every cloud comes a silver lining...we're happy to report that Circus World will not be hosting live circus shows on their grounds this summer due to COVID-19.
