Circuses Pulled Off the Road Due to COVID-19

We are pleased to say that all circuses using exotic animals have been pulled off the road for the time being due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We will continue to monitor their activity and will let everyone know when they return to traveling....if they do. Many shows have been rescheduled to later in the Spring or Fall, but as this is an evolving situation it is difficult to predict a timeline. We know many are concerned about the animals at this time. We are too. But we derive some solace from knowing that they are at least back in their "home" locations and not being forced to travel in trailers and made to give rides and perform stupid tricks. Please keep an eye on our dedicated site circus

Animal Advocacy in the age of COVID-19

As we type this post, the situation regarding COVID-19 is rapidly evolving. Numerous states have enacted temporary bans on public gatherings of various sizes, with many more such bans likely to occur. Please know that we are working closely with animal advocates across the country to help them navigate this rapidly changing situation. Just this morning a circus performance in Oregon with a scheduled protest was forced to cancel due to the state of Oregon enacting a ban of gatherings over 250 people. We are doing our best to contact protest leads and protesters of these changes. What can you do? If a circus or other event using animals is scheduled in your region, contact the venue implor
