On July 31, CWI filed an emergency complaint with the USDA on behalf of elephants Lisa and Tracy for violations of the Animal Welfare Act. After extensive review of the footage CWI captured on July 13 at Circus World, our experts determined that elephants Lisa and Tracy were both exhibiting signs that they are significantly compromised on their right sides, including knee and hip, as well as wrist and elbow.
