Activism works! An animal-free magic show launches in Vegas!

In the winter of 2021/2022, CWI mounted a massive campaign to prevent a tiger magic show in Las Vegas. Jay Owenhouse fought back tooth and nail. He'd moved his family from Montana to Nevada and was bragging on social media about his new tiger magic show.

We launched a massive multi-pronged campaign and mobilized locals. And we WON! Owenhouse backed down and withdrew his application with Clark County.

Two weeks ago, Owenhouse gained permission for his magic show. But this time he agreed to go ANIMAL-FREE!

We celebrate this massive success and will continue to campaign for Owenhouse to send his three tigers, living in a warehouse in Montana, to an appropriate sanctuary.
