Huge news!

We are thrilled to share that MGM, the parent company of The Mirage in Las Vegas, has just announced that the Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat will not continue to remain a fixture at that property when it is taken over by Hard Rock International.

There will be no more dolphins, tigers, lions and other animals housed on the Las Vegas Strip for the entertainment of visitors at The Mirage or Hard Rock.

This result was the work of countless individuals and organizations over more than a decade. After establishing ourselves in Las Vegas nine years ago, CWI immediately became involved in the campaign to end this blatant animal cruelty. We have staged countless protests, have run a mobile billboard in front of the Mirage, engaged with the media (most recently just two weeks ago!), conducted investigations of the facility, and petitioned both MGM and Hard Rock International.

This is a massive victory that will reverberate not just through Las Vegas, but across every facility that continues to keep dolphins in small, concrete pools for profit.

Help us keep up the fight against animal abuse. Support our work today!
