9/11/26 - URGENT: Museum of the Southwest to Feature Painting Elephant This Weekend

Museum of the Southwest in Midland, Texas, is again advertising an elephant-painting attraction for SeptemberFest this weekend. Last year, the elderly elephant Okha was used at the same event. This year’s elephant is believed to be Okha.

Okha deserves retirement and companionship, not another weekend of exploitation.

Tell Museum of the Southwest to cancel the elephant attraction and commit to keeping future SeptemberFest events elephant-free.
