Success! Elephants Isa and Viola are no longer traveling with Jordan World Circus. Venues hosting Jordan World on upcoming tour dates have been informed that elephants will no longer appear in shows this year.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in speaking out! With your support, CWI has been protesting and investigating Jordan World Circus for more than a decade. While we are encouraged by the removal of Isa and Viola, we are remaining vigilant to ensure that the circus doesn't bring Isa and Viola back this year or any year in the future.
The next question many will ask is: what happens to Isa and Viola? The elephants are not owned by Jordan World Circus, but by another circus family. They maintain a facility called "Endangered Ark" in Oklahoma where more than a dozen elephants live. Two other Endangered Ark elephants, Isla and Kelly, have also performed in circuses this year. This horrific practice of sending elderly elephants to perform in circuses MUST end.
Join us in asking Endangered Ark to NEVER send Isa, Viola, Isla, Kelly or any other elephant back on the road for rides or performances.
