5/10/25 Okha returns to Loomis Bros Circus

THANK YOU! to the many people who have recently signed petitions for Okha and shared her story. 

The circus Okha has been traveling with is now off the road. We fear that she is returning to Loomis Bros Circus, which has performances scheduled in Belle Vernon, Gettysburg, and York, Pennsylvania beginning next week through the end of May.

Even if you have already signed it, please click here to let Loomis Bros Circus know that elderly Okha needs sanctuary now, not more travel, rides, and circus performances.

Presently, Brian Franzen, Okha's owner, has no intention of selling her or sending her to sanctuary. He will continue to exploit her for profit as long as he possibly can. We MUST continue to let him know that this is unacceptable, and we will not rest until Okha is retired from her miserable life of doing stupid tricks in circuses.
