"Trunks and Humps", a business that exploits elephants for profit, is hoping to return to Colorado Renaissance Festival once again this year. It is our understanding that they have submitted an application and that Colorado Parks and Wildlife is in the process of reviewing it.

NOW is the time to ACT!

In a previous action, we asked you to speak out directly to the festival. They are apparently unmoved by the plight of these elephants, which involves being dragged around the country and forced to give rides over and over again at Renaissance festivals. Trunks and Humps is limited in Colorado to an "educational display", but as CWI has pointed out, the elephants are still prompted to do unnatural tricks.

Performing elephants are illegal in the state of Colorado! Please, help us get word to Colorado Parks & Wildlife that we will NOT back down.

Sign our petition! It only takes a minute! Krissy, Paige, and Jeanie deserve better.
