Rally For Cecil is a go!

We're pleased to announced that we are bringing back our Rally For Cecil event July 1-3, 2021 as a part of our Worldwide Rally Against Trophy Hunting campaign.

As you may remember, CWI hosted the first Rally For Cecil event after the killing of Cecil the lion in 2015. The first Rally was extremely well attended both at our main rally in Las Vegas and at our solidarity rallies around the world! (Look back at our 2nd Rally For Cecil in 2017!) In 2018, the Rally For Cecil became our Worldwide Rally Against Trophy Hunting (WRATH) event, which coincides with the Safari Club International (SCI) annual convention. We speak for wildlife, while the convention attendees bid on the lives of innocent animals and dream up new ways to kill them!

Last year we brought back an online event for Cecil which generated a lot of interest, so this year we have decided to keep that tradition rolling and bring back the Rally For Cecil permanently so that we are always honoring Cecil's memory and strengthening our anti-trophy hunting message. The new Rally For Cecil will feature both online and in-person events (where possible) due to Covid-19. The main/online event listing is posted here. As of this writing, in-person events are planned for Las Vegas, NV and Birmingham, England. In the coming months, look for information on our Stop The Hunt event, which will take place this Fall, and the return of the Worldwide Rally Against Trophy Hunting in 2022 when SCI holds their annual convention once again in Las Vegas. Again, information will be posted at notyourtrophy.org.
