The CWI action alert this week is related to a horrific and tragic situation that took place at Gulf World Marine Park in Panama City Beach, Florida - a business we regard as an "aquatic circus".

Jett, a 14-year-old dolphin, jumped on command during a show on that took place on March 1, 2025 and slammed his head into a shallow concrete platform in the tank, dying of acute head trauma per necropsy reports.

Within the last 6 months, FOUR dolphins - Jeff, Gus, Turk, and Nate - have died at Gulf World.

Since opening, at least 81 dolphins are known to have died at Gulf World. Presently, the facility holds 12 bottlenose dolphins captive as well as penguins, flamingos, sharks, seals, and sea lions. Last week, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation investigators were denied entry to the park by Gulf World staff. WHAT are they hiding???

Gulf World Marine Park is a disgraceful, crumbling facility and the deaths MUST end. Join us in letting them know that it is time the animals were sent to a facility where they can thrive and NOT forced to do stupid and deadly tricks!
