Isa & Viola Deserve Better
Oklahoma-based Endangered Ark Foundation promotes itself as a retirement home where elephants are loved and cared for. The truth is: Endangered Ark is owned by the same people who traveled for years as Carson and Barnes Circus. While Carson and Barnes stopped performing, they did not stop renting out their elephants for circus performances.
Isa and Viola are two of those elephants. Both elephants are over 55 years old. At present, they are rented to Jordan World Circus for use in performances and for rides. They are forced to travel thousands of miles each year and are denied the opportunity to have any semblance of a natural life.

The elephants are regularly forced to spend entire days confined in either a truck or in a small pen. This causes the emotional and psychological suffering evident in stereotypical behaviors like rocking and swaying.
They are also subjected to bullhooks, slapping, shoving, water deprivation, and other forms of ill treatment. Never believe a circus when it tells you that it "loves their animal family". The reality couldn't be further from the truth. Watch the video and see for yourself.
Tell the Endangered Ark owners: it is time to stop the abuse. Bring Isa and Viola back to Endangered Ark and become a true sanctuary for elephants!
