Carson & Barnes Circus is off the road!

July 3, 2017

Carson & Barnes Circus posted news that was music to an animal lover's ear today by announcing that due to "unseen circumstances with additional financial burdens" they would be taking their leave of traveling for the summer. Though they claim they intend to return in the fall, this is a boon for the animals who would have been forced to travel with them throughout the summer months.

As the world wakes up to the reality of circus cruelty, we'll increasingly see more and more smaller circuses taking "time out" from the road. There simply is no longer a viable market for animal abuse in today's day and age.

CompassionWorks International is proud to have played a key roll in countless protests against Carson & Barnes, along with protests of other small circuses currently touring the country.
